Plans for the all weather play
area were not submitted until April 2007, when they were sent back as not
having sufficient detail. The Association were told that the costs for the car
park would not be met from this source.
Due to the delays caused by the
council there is a strong possibility that this money may be lost to the
village. It was proposed by Joan Barrington that ‘The Village Hall and
Recreation Association apply to the Ombudsman for a speedy conclusion to enable
the All weather play area to be established’
