16th century cottage accommodation set in woodland.
The cottage is a grade 2 listed stone building in a typical Gower farmhouse style.
It has recently featured in a publication "Vernacular Gower".
The cottage is situated in 9 acres of woodland - loads of fun for children. It
is a 10-15 minute drive from Oxwich and Caswell and the beaches are accessible
by car.
There are 4 bedrooms: -
1. Double bed
2. Double bed and 1 single-family room
3. Single room
4. Single with pull out bed underneath.
There is an old bed settee in a downstairs room covered with a throw.
There are 3 reception rooms all with open fires/log burner. There is central
heating!!!!
The small kitchen is newly fitted and has an electric cooker, fridge, microwave
and washing machine and a small deep freeze (4 drawers)
The cottage is equipped for 8.
There are 2 shower rooms.
Electricity is charged at 20p per unit and you will need to read the meter on
arrival and departure.
The meter is behind the front door.
There are games in the cupboard in the end room.
The nearest shop, newsagent, P.O. and pub are a mile away in Kittle. There is a
superb bakery there where bread is baked daily--- -hot bread for breakfast is a
20-minute walk over the fields!!!
There is garden furniture.
You will need duvet covers and sheets, towels and tea towels.

Comfy, cosy cottage served all our needs-
A great base for our exploration of Gower.
Sat around fire every night –Glorious thanks for the wood.
The week exceeded our expectations and we’d love to return one day.
